You never know if or when your pet may need to visit the emergency clinic. Here are a few of our best tips for if the time comes:
- Call ahead of your visit or when you’re on your way in.
- Bring your pet on a leash or in a carrier for your pet’s and everyone’s safety.
- Bring a list of current medications/vaccinations if available. Take a picture of the whole medication bottles on your phone.
- Bring in any pertinent medical records/bloodwork if available.
Clients that need financial help can always apply for CareCredit or ScratchPay before even coming in. If you have pet insurance, you can also bring any paperwork that we may need to fill out for their pet insurance. All these things are helpful but not required for coming into the emergency clinic.
